How does Zoom Whitespeed work?
The Zoom! Hydrogen peroxide whitening gel works with the LED light to penetrate the teeth and break up any stains and discoloration. The gel works in three 15-minute sessions of light activation. Patients can opt-in for a fourth session depending on results and sensitivity. The complete procedure takes less than an hour! Sit back, relax, and watch a movie while you whiten!
Is the teeth whitening process painful?
The procedure is generally comfortable. We take measures to minimize any sensitivity. We recommend using Sensodyne toothpaste two weeks leading up to your appointment. Some people experience sensitivity after treatment for up to 24 hours. If this occurs, we recommend taking Advil or Tylenol to mitigate the sensitivity!
How long do the results last?
Results can last for years with proper care and maintenance. Avoiding staining drinks and foods will help preserve results. We will also send you home with a take-home whitening gel that will pop you right back to that bright smile!

Most people are candidates for teeth whitening but it is best to consult with Dr. Anderson beforehand. Patients must be over the age of 16 for our in-office teeth whitening. If under 18, parental consent is required.
